VCE End of Year Celebrations

Ask any Year 12 student and I suspect they will describe this year as both long and short. How so?

Long, because it pushed every student to fulfil all of the requirements needed to obtain a VCE. Assessments, tests, exams and so much revision. Short, because it feels like the first day of Year 12 was only last week, photo day was yesterday and Graduation today. How is this possible?

As Year 11 and 12 Coordinator, I see our students through this tough year, and once exams have concluded, the fun begins! We had Acknowledgement Day and Graduation within a week. Acknowledgment Day is themed around recognising and reflecting on the students’ hard work, their peers’ challenges and triumphs, their teachers’ efforts all whilst having some fun in hilarious costumes. Graduation is all about celebrating the Class of 2019’s achievements, while also involving and acknowledging the role of families in the lives of our students. And my, what a turn out, with 450 attendees witnessing this momentous occasion! Congratulations Class of 2019! We wish you every success on your onward journeys.
